Pianoforte Classes within Maidenhead Festival of Music and Dance now concluded – and Thames Valley Piano School’s pupils dominated in every category entered. Not only that, every single participant was awarded with the medal. 4 golds, 3 silvers, 2 bronzes and 1 Trophy for highest mark in beginner’s classes.

Trophy in beginners classes is actually returning to Thames Valley Piano School for the second consecutive year, to a different student. This is important. We will celebrate second anniversary of our school being established, in November. Achievements from piano competitions and festivals are of immense value to us, because these results represent our work, effort and its quality to a wider audience, be it parents, adult learners or children themselves. Being a young school, compared to some other establishments in the Slough or Windsor area, we are still cultivating our own batch of pupils who will represent us in the future. But these results (for a second year running) are nothing short of fantastic – and serve as reassurance of being in good hands to both existing and potential students.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a very big ‘Thank You’ to all parents, who tirelessly motivate and support their children in their effort to become young pianists and acquire a life-long enjoyment and skill that playing the piano is.
